Minou Morabāh: Weeping Mulberry Cayenne Jam

It’s my FAVORITE season again, mulberry season. And with a lot of tender loving care, this year’s mulberry harvest is for the books. The fruit is impeccably sweet and juicy and the color of the mulberries leave a gorgeous stain on the fingertips that no one can hide from. This is the second year of canning the mulberries and I’m incredibly excited to bring it online for others to enjoy. Mulberries are especially close to my heart, as they remind me of visiting Iran around this time of year, where you can purchase a kilo of succulent Persian king berries known as, Shahtoot. Weeping mulberries are as closes as we can get to Shahtoot in California; however, each berry is in a class of its own. Come purchase a jar of this delicious seasonal preserve on Etsy.

Raw Materia Hoop Earrings

First jewelry piece of 2022, and this year it is all about protecting your crown – crown chakra that is. The Raw Materia Amethyst hoop earrings set is a one-off piece made with Amethyst crystal gemstones bought locally in Los Angeles. This crystal gemstone has a peaceful, energetic charge and when needing to purify the mind, body and soul, this stone is especially beneficial for those that want to unblock their crown chakras and strengthen their understanding of others’ perspectives. Amethyst is part of the Quartz family of crystals and sits on the Mohs hardness scale at a 7. The forbidden fruit is ready to be tasted for the Home-grown Quince & Rose Water Jam! Quince as mentioned before in one of our IG posts, is the OG forbidden fruit due to it’s ideal state of consumption is best served cooked rather than raw. Quince is a crispy, chameleon-like fall/winter fruit originating from the northern regions of Iran and Turkiye that were cultivated and brought to the Americas by the Portuguese. It’s flavor combinations are crossed between an apple and a pear and makes for great additions to ponche navideño – a Mexican spiked hot cider that is a delicious holiday tradition. The flavor palate of quince, rose water and crushed fennel bring the aromatically soft yet spicy hints of licorice and fruity sweetness to life in this one of a kind seasonal fruit jam. Minou Morabāh: Hachiya Persimmon & Mexican Vanilla Jam

Seasonal preserves are upon us, and the first Home-grown Hachiya Persimmon & Mexican Vanilla batch of jam is ready to ship! After picking the persimmons in late November 2021, the fruit has been ripening these past several weeks, allowing for the astringency to reduce and soften to the optimal consistency. Persimmons along with coffee, tea, chocolate and wine are naturally abundant in tannins – giving it the delicious texture and taste we all yearn for. The combination of spice and warmth are the perfect spread over toast or as a marinade for all seasons, but especially during these chilly days of winter. Terminal Chain Clamps

A fun, new Minou design utilizing recycled positive and negative electrical terminal clamps. The Terminal Chain Clamps is constructed out of glass beads, Pyrite beads, Labradorite chips, Rose Quartz chips and wooden beads and is a multi-functioning accessory that can be used to fasten your mask or for nipple play – that which I left up to the imagination. Minou Morabāh: Mulberry Jam

Our very own home-grown mulberry lemon cayenne jam is finally here. Excited to be sharing the first of seasonal jams to come from our very own garden. Morabāh means jam in Farsi. With the end of the summer 2021 weeping mulberry harvest coming to a close, we cooked, pH tested, sanitized, canned with recycled jars and pasteurized one of our family favorites. All ingredients are natural and contain no pectin. Giving back is one of our core fundamentals. With the continued humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, all sales will be directly donated to three organizations helping out Afghan women, girls and children.
